With this terminology Meeting Art expresses an opinion and not a statement of fact as to the attribution, origin, date, age, provenance, and condition of the lots contained in this catalog.
Furthermore, Meeting Art strongly recommends that buyers personally view the lots offered which are subject to the conditions of sale.

2. PARIS...or FRANCE... c. 1820. In our opinion, although it has no legible or missing punches, it can be traced to the place and period indicated.
3. OF TASTE...or OF STYLE...or IN STYLE... In our opinion, the judgment is inherent solely to the pattern and decorative workmanship of the object, not attributing it to the historical period of the style indicated.
4. GROSS WEIGHT The lot was weighed with the non-silver parts (e.g., wooden handles, ballasts etc.) of which separation was not possible. Net weight is expressed in grams only, not less than indicated.
